Autumn Foraging – Helping to Ward Off Winter ills

Rachel and Debbie recently ran a foraging session at the Hive, Philips Park, Prestwich.

The theme was looking for signs of autumn. The attendees also helped to make a healthy elixir to ward off colds and flu. Elderberries, rose hips, fresh orange, and local park honey were mixed in homemade apple cider vinegar made from the park’s orchard.

The session was well attended, and the feedback from attendees that was it was very enjoyable. Future sessions are planned, so please watch out for them on our What’s On page .
