Starting on April 4th, we’re offering a free 12-week nature and wellbeing programme at Philips Park, Whitefield. Held every Monday afternoon* at Philips Park, you’ll get involved in all sorts of fulfilling outdoor activities.
*Moving to Tuesday afternoon if there’s a Bank Holiday
The aim is for a healthier you by getting outside into nature. The sessions will be led by Lancashire Wildlife Trust staff and with spring just around the corner, we’ll be getting up to a whole host of different activities. They including planting, nature walks, photography, making bird boxes and much more.
No previous “outdoor” experience is required to join the sessions, and the minimum age to take part is 18. Some ground at Philips Park is uneven, so you will need to be steady on your feet. Unfortunately for these sessions, we can’t accommodate wheelchair users.
